Jordan Vauvert
Condemned to a fiery void, where teeth gnash and limbs beat endlessly, those that have inflicted pain on the innocent scream in agony, their cries reaching the top of the tallest spire that pierce the heavens where the abused now reside.
Those below plead for forgiveness, for solace. Those above simply laugh and refuse to answer as they watch them flail in the pit eternally.
This is the voice of one of many within the tower. It is the new standard for emotionally extreme music. Grimmrobe
❤️My original plan was to go through and buy individual tracks like I do with most compilation albums, but honestly there are just so many good ones that I wound up buying the whole thing. More than simple drones (though there are plenty of those, too), this album collects many of the best and most innovative dark ambient artists in one place, including many who are new to me. A must-have for any dark ambient fan's collection. Plushie Fanatic
Future Romans call themselves “experimental slow-wave pop,” and the name is fitting; their songs are delicate and drifting and beautiful. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 19, 2021

The most musically interesting Fields of Mildew album I've heard while not sacrificing an ounce of emotional heft. I like how it often introduces ideas that sound "off" (non-diatonic) and then, when the idea repeats, it sounds "right". This playing with expectations creates this additional way to create emotional impact. thecombinatorax
